Wedding MBA 2023

Concept: Backyard Pool Party

Message: Vendors should live in the backyard of where thier ideal clients already live. Warm qualified leads with a no-ghost guarantee.

Photo opportunities

As shown by my very glamorous examples, a huge aspect of this booth was the different places where attendees could take out their phones and commemorate their trip to Wedding MBA with a cute backyard pool party photo! With a hashtag, attendees posting on social media can be awesome, authentic advertising for the brand!

Shirts for the Zola team

Sometimes everyone wearing a “uniform” at these shows can miss the mark, so it was important that our t-shirts fit in with the casual energy of the backyard party. I designed these casual fit t-shirts using the backdrop design.

Sweepstakes and Giveaways

The main lead generation was through the sweepstakes giveaway. Attendees entered to win one of four items: Vitamix Explorian Series E310 Blender, Weber Master-touch 22'“ Charcoal Grill, Estelle Colord Glass Stemless Wine Glasses (set of 6), YETI Tundra 35 Cooler. I designed little tags that were hung on the items, as well as carried around by the Zola team for users to enter to win!

In addition to the sweepstakes competition we I designed thee “wet bags” with the Zola logo. The concept behind this giveaway is that it is a waterproof bag that either keeps your wet swimsuit away from your other belongings, or you put your documents or valuables inside it to keep it dry. We also handed out Zola “one pagers” with a discount code for attendees, as well as stickers and pens.

Zola cans with a bit of Marketing Promo

I designed these Zola can labels, including the Zola for Vendors marketing copy of “The Zola Difference”. The Yeti Cooler was one of the items that was a part of the giveaway, and we wanted it to be incorporated into the “set”, so we knew we would want fake ice and some soda cans. I brought up the idea of quickly making a sticker wrap to grab another promotional opportunity that would be a fun little easter egg for the guests to find when exploring the booth.

Backdrop, Pool and Signage Design

I designed the backdrop, pool and all of the signage/promo in the booth! I used Zola’s font faces and integrated the signs into the environment of the pool party.

Bbot & Doordash Events

I had a part in planning and executing 17 events for Bbot and Doordash, including trade shows and happy hours.

Food On Demand, 2021, Las Vegas NV

Bbot Shop: I created this demo using Bbot’s Demo feature which allowed me to populate my own “restaurant” with the Bbot swag we had designed for this show. The attendees were then able to use this demo and “order” thier swag. We had a KDS (kitchen display system), that then would also show the attendees what the BOH would see when orders come in. The QR codes on the back of the sales teams t-shirts sent attendees to the shop where they could order: water, socks, passport covers, mints, and freshly popped popcorn (my suggestion as the smell of fresh popcorn always leads attendees to search for the smell on a trade show floor).

On the Bbot shop, we made sure to show the different features, including: different sections, “topping” options and pickup location.

Happy Hour at Beer Park: Located at Beer Park, right across from the Bellagio where the conference was being held. In collaboration with two of our partnering companies: Bikky and Chowly, I planned this happy hour while they contributed to the funds.
