Criteria for Selection:

1)  Must be currently active in the sport of Shutting Up and Playing

2)  Must be currently playing or coaching a professional level sport (Having played/ coached in at least one match/race/game in the last three calendar years)

3) Must be currently NOT shutting up (Must have made a political statement in the last year)

4)  Must be currently involved in community service (ongoing)

5)  Retired team member selection includes figures who have made a lasting contribution to drawing attention to social justice issues while engaged in their sport
