Bladder Boot

Footballs were originally inflated with the bladders of animals, usually a pigs. Later, these bladders were placed inside a leather cover. The shape of the football is directly related to the shape of a pig bladder when it is inflated. The function followed the form and the form followed the material. This costume, and specifically the boot is a further exploration of material, the form and the functions that they might have.
