There are complicated histories of degradation within the fields of athletics and entertainment. The intersection of sports, race, and gender stereotypes within athletics are areas where I, as a woman athlete have experiences that others with different identities can relate to. My line of clothing aims to revise and challenge gender norms, while, in its construction speak to the ways we armor our psychological interiors and physical exteriors as human beings.
